Sword and Steele

I am sitting down with my feet up after a day of competing in a friendly Ironclad longsword event. I think I managed to win 5 out of my 6 bouts, but I’ll update if that proves wrong. Unfortunately, I needed to skip out before the final to look out a family member, but it was still a fantastic day.

Here I am in all my rotund glory before I have my padded jacket, mask and gloves on. If I can get some photos or videos of the fights, I’ll make another post. The sun was out and it the padding cooks us.

The past week has been all about Susie Steele. Books 2 of the Susie Steele Adventures is called The Steele Bite. It will be releasing mid April. The launch party is set for the 16th of April. For those in Adelaide, details for the in-person party is available here.
