Teeny, Tiny Update
Hey folks,
Still kicking over here. Writing is one of those iceberg things. So much happens below the surface, but not everything is visible — or even makes it — to the top.
I spent a good amount of time working on a big epic fantasy piece that I’m still struggling with. There are so many great characters and situations, but the stitching of them together has been hard.
To give myself a breather, I’m writing an urban fantasy for adults. It’s a bit of a low key affair with magic, mystery, and monsters. The main setting is the Hotel Yore, an art deco building that is more than it seems. I don’t know that I’d call it a cozy, but I think it’ll be fun to curl up on a couch and read while the crackling warmth of log fire bathes your side.
Coming up, I’ll be at the Barossa Medieval Fair, and I do have a market or two on the horizon, along with a potential school visit.
I hope you’re all well. And don’t forget, if you haven’t reviewed a book of mine that you’ve read, you can make a big difference with some stars and even a short review.
